I recall seeing a video, years ago, about some westoid-run educational program for women in Afghanistan, back when it was still under occupation. There was an "art" class, where some white, undoubtedly super liberal chick was enlightening wives of Afghan dirt farmers about the beautiful works produced by the Western civilization. In one shot she was showing them the I-forget-who's magnum opus that's literally just a signed urinal. The Afghan women seemed less than impressed.

And really, that one shot sums up the whole fucking twenty years. The supposedly civilized people came in guns blazing and told the people they had something better than their tribal societies and backwards islamic theocracy, and then they showed them the supposedly better thing - and it was only good for catching piss.
