Yes, Amazon bans books based on political viewpoints they don't like. B&N tends to be a little better, if that helps you at all.

Must be a recent (within the last 10 years) policy. I remember I could've gotten a copy of Esther Vilar's The Manipulated Man off Amazon but it got memoryholed sometime between then and now.

Valerie Solanas's SCUM Manifesto is still up for sale, of course.

I think it is and on a case by case basis. I recall there also having some books that I was interested in disappear or hearing about them getting pulled.
