No one is forcing him/her to live in that house under those conditions. Is basic stuff, you are under my root you abide by my rules. Why in the world would a Christian family accept sin under their roof.

More then that, from the comments on the thread the family has 6 kids, I assume 4 of them are still Christians, the OP and the trans I assume are not. The parents want to protect the kids from anti-Christian ideology.
