I would be categorized as classic liberal aka "government should get lost out of private business and only focus on protecting the nation". Conservatives would still demand government to control private life (think of religion or which books are allowed).
Government is the most dangerous entity that you can introduce and unfortunately it is necessary to run a nation. It should be kept on a tight leash and a strict diet. The problem is that socialists and conservatives see it as a tool to be used against their opponents.

Those are just communists saying that they are liberals (similar branding is done by rino's) as the one thing that is present in all those instances is government getting involved in private business. A nice example of the reverse situation is the protest against evolution or we cannot forget the protests against videogames for "being too violent/anti-christian".
