A single year of Ruski Mir results in some individual walls still standing. Other cities west of Donetsk (Avdiivka for example) look similar, and the famous Bakhmut was going on only since August and so is in a visibly better shape.
But muh 8 years of Ukronazi shelling of Donbas (where Ukraine was holding most of Donbas) and there was literally no trace if it anywhere in Donetsk city center, which was only few km from Ukrainian positions (and still is, as the frontlines barely changed since February 2020 and actually since February 2015). As opposed to soon no trace of western Donbas cities themselves.

There has been plenty of shelling of Donetsk, and you know that full well. They hit a hospital a while back, for which you blamed Stalin. Someone as generally well-informed about war as you knows full well that more damage is done during an active offensive than intermittent shelling, but hey, Poland's gonna Poland.
It's funny that you're not calling into question that the Bandera fans are shelling Donetsk. They repaired it, so it doesn't count! There was a guy on Twitter who claimed that the entire war was a hoax, because some building in Kiev which the Russians or Ukrainian AA hit... has been repaired in the meantime.
Ukraine is not assaulting Donetsk at the moment. It's just shelling it out of spite. Perhaps to show the people that Russia can't protect them.
And you know what? After all of your past obsession with Walter Duranty's denial about Ukraine, you became a Duranty.
Isn't it ironic.

Feel feee to show me the effects of this "plenty of shelling of Donetsk". All 8 years of it. Any neighborhood in the city center.
Even now after this year of "active offensive", today, as Ukrainian drones stalk individual little green men in the completely pristine streets of central Donetsk with normal civilian traffic and then demobilize them in surgical strikes.
