but it's not doing anything serious, and people don't magically know how to do anything with it.
like i have a friend who doesn't know code and he asked for it to generate code for an app, and he collected the snippets into a file. he has no idea what to do with it. and i looked at the code, and while it looks like it's syntactically correct, it doesn't actually accomplish what he wanted, even if he put it together correctly. there's no UI, the logic for the actual process he wanted is not correct, and overall it's just useless even for someone who knows what they're doing.
when people talk about microservices that GPT4 can produce correctly, it's basically in the form of a lambda/REST endpoint that runs a single dedicated but simple function and returns a result. you still need to be an engineer to set all that shit up.
