I didn't read that whole thing, because it's a book and I'm not a raging incel and I just don't have interest in being raged at about women. I would say I very likely fit into the MGTOW category, but I'm not part of some movement. I am not a part of some community of MGTOW where that's part of my identity just like I was never screaming "to the moon" and buying up weird stocks. That's never been me, I'm a really shitty part of a herd. I've really always just been going my own way in basically everything since I was a kid. That's my personality.
absolute lack of trying to change to be something better
This is what I really pick up on from this whole spiel though. I've argued this with people before who bitch and moan about how awful whatever the hell is for them. Ask them are they doing anything to change their situation. Watch the excuses flow. I especially notice it with people with money problems. Their attitude turns into what I'd call "if they can't be Elon Musk then why bother trying." They just can't get that it's a mentality to better yourself that I'm talking about and that failure comes all the damn time. Maybe I'm just happy to keep trying.

MGTOW is a lifestyle, not a movement. For every MGTOW who's on the internet talking about it there are hundreds or thousands who just live it without even being aware of the anonym. Calling it a movement is a feminist lie that seeks to drive it off the internet, and ultimately meat space.
