I don’t think he was tricked into lockdowns, but he was tricked into a false understanding of the severity of the virus. That was perfect for him because he loved being able to act like a white knight riding in to save everyone from it.

I supported Trump, but the left was never wrong about his massive ego. It’s even more evident with his actions lately. The thing is when the choice is a massive ego that wants to better the country and any of the most corrupt scum of trash coming out of the DNC, of course I’m going to choose the ego, because at least it doesn’t want to actively destroy everything.
