“I love my babies. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy”: One mother’s struggle to survive in pro-life Texas
Pregnancy forced Destiny Williams to quit her job. She almost died during childbirth. Now with a newborn in tow, she’s struggling to build a more stable life for her and her children.
It’s a form of terrorism. Poor people have children with no regard for the societal implications, and then those kids simply become society’s problem. If we don’t pay for them, they become criminals and go on to steal from us and kill us. If we do pay for them, we perpetuate a dysgenic cycle that quickly spirals out of control.
This is what happens when you remove culturally-enforced best practices like the demonization of single motherhood and promiscuity. For western nations, these behaviors were largely kept in check by Christianity.
If only things did work that way! Instead we get the worst of both worlds. We end up having to perpetuate the cycle by paying for the upbringing of bastards who then grow up to become criminals anyway.
