Nitrogen pollution is a problem that can poison waterways; but that's why you plant nitrogen fixing trees next to rivers. It's also mostly the result of over-fertilization. So, all that's really required is making sure you fertilize correctly.

Bulldozing and seizing farms was never the correct answer to anything related to nitrogen pollution.
