Hes in jail for 6 years but will likely get out on good behavior, then stab someone again no doubt.
I remember seeing that one, there was another slightly like it where the guy was literally on the deportation list and because of hand wringing, he stayed in the country long enough to kill someone.
The UK needs to go full Japan at least and make it extremely difficult to stay there, but that may then highlight the failures of social programs and education in the country.
