Tried it last night, it was pretty good. Art direction on the Genados is interesting, but I’m still not really a fan of babyface Leon. so far it looks like they’ve changed a bunch of stuff up just to fuck with returning players, I was caught off guard a few times.
Combat takes some getting used to, even with sensitivity turned all the way up aim felt a little sluggish, it felt inconsistent on when enemies were stunned and you could melee them or not. The new knife system is cool but it seems like the durability runs out way too fast.
Overall I’m definitely looking forward to it, RE4 is one of my favorite games and I think Capcom is overall doing a pretty good job with Resident Evil for now. I still submit that RE4 doesn’t need a remake. Try it if you want, it’s really short
No.
We have Resident Evil 4.
It's called Resident Evil 4.
We also had Resident Evil One, it was called Resident Evil One (then it was called Resident Evil Director’s Cut, then it was called Resident Evil Director’s Cut Dual Shock Edition)
but they made a remake of that and it was pretty damn good.
So the slippery slope is real.
Glad that's settled
What does a greased-up Asian have to do with this?
RE4 has been re-released and milked more than any other entry in the franchise. It's up there with skyrim.
That said, it's also one of the best of the best in the franchise and from Capcom in general.
I'll allow it on grounds that this is the end of it. I haven't played it since GameCube and would like to try it again but without the rough spots and jank. If nothing else I'll support Capcom keeping the effort up and keeping the woke to a minimum.
I just pray the street fighter 6 shit isn't as bad as it looks.
