This woman was on Canada's version of the Daily Show and she's basically our Colbert in that she's a complete Liberal party sellout. She also used to call our previous PM "Herr Harper" because he was a "Nazi".
The comparison between The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and OG 90s-00s This Hour has 22 Minutes doesn't really hold up well other than both shows being political, having the occasional politician cameo/man on the street segments and having a faux newsdesk studio.
The Canadian version was more like SNL or SCTV relying mostly on sketches and skits.
The Canadian version also didn't really rely on a single celebrity host, as they employed a 4-man panel of hosts that no one had really heard of outside the show.
