You’re describing a preference cascade. It’s the cultural equivalent of a spartan bloodying the face of Xerxes. This is absolutely why they fight so hard on even the most insane fronts. They cannot allow their political and cultural movement to be proven fallible.

This is also why the tranny issue should be our number one priority. It is the most obviously unhinged position in the leftist orthodoxy. If we can turn that tide, others will follow.
