I never got the appeal of watching black dudes fight over a ball anyway. I mean if it was done gladiator style, sure, but it's just dudes running around jumping on each other. boring.
here is my idea for a better football:
asians only
must have hard science degrees & score high on an IQ test. no jocks.
allowed to play wearing power armor as long as they design and built it themselves
allowed to literally kill each other as long as the weapons used are limited to katanas & energy weapons
each team gets a limited design budget each season

The NFL gets a ton of corporate welfare benefits that need to be cut. That will hurt them more than a boycott (which will do nothing).
I've never understood why people who like rough sports with a lot of contact don't watch MMA straight away.
