Even funnier that the game has clearly passed through the agenda filter a few times, never knew 1800s England was so multicuturally diverse with trannies even.
It’s actually the game they claim to want but turns out it was never about the game or the content, it’s about internet slapfight points.
It basically has the problem that the woke LotR has - the world got less diverse over time.
Granted, as far as the non-sexual diversity part goes, the time is pretty much at the last of the great days of the British Empire, so I could imagine Hogwarts drawing the best and brightest from around the entire Empire at the time, with wizards training there and going home to their respective countries to pass on what they learned in Scotland. Once the Empire degraded to Commonwealth, by the 1990s, most would have just stayed in their own countries, and Hogwarts went back to being a UK school.
I can't push aside the blatant homosexuality, though (some teacher I met and did a quick quest for out in the wild, dunno about that other character). it IS the 1880s, and no one would be so blatant as to refer to her "wife". Roommate, friend, even "sister". I mean, these people who push this shit also complain about how bad things were in the past. If they stick modern crap into their period pieces, their kids/grandkids are never going to believe that they were EVER "persecuted". They want to eat their fucking cake, and have it, too.
And the character creator sucks balls. I just got lazy and wound up with a vaguely Harry-esque kid.
It would be reasonable for 1800s Britain, the largest empire in world history, to have an unusually diverse magic academy in a setting where people can teleport vast distances easily. That's not why they did it, obviously, but it could be plausible in the setting.
