Probably because non cultish people like the Harry Potter universe like they did Dr Who, Star Wars, Star Trek etc

It's just this case, it's an above average game so people will buy it to be entertained. That's all that's required. I'd like to say that the left usually fails at this basic requirement by design but I just genuinely think they're shit at their jobs after seeing 10+ 'a day in the life of' tech company videos...
