Another creepy/nefarious thing about this is how did they find out this was her parents..??

IP Address tracking? Just some intern researching and guessing from the names??

It's very weird, if, as she says, they've never booked anything for her, or used their account in a way associated with her...

Suggests that someone at AirBnB went to a specific effort to make that connection, and then weaponise it...

Extremely creepy, whatever you may think of Southern herself...

See, I always thought this company was evil, but unlike say, Apple or Facebook, they've largely been above reproach/managed to weasel/bribe/influence their way around any questioning of the absolutely wack shit that they do...

Literally nothing about them is good anymore, unless you a) inexplicably hate hotels, b) are travelling somewhere with no other options, or c) make money off them (grifters et al.)...

They're a shit company. I would say "I hope their competitors best them", but then, they don't really have any true competition, in their specific "niche" (Stayz, I guess, but they're much, much smaller)...

This whole model of doing business needs to die, at least when it comes to real estate (and fucking food delivery)...
