Looking at what I can understand of the judiciary, it looks like he's politicizing it, but I don't know how badly politicized it already is. A simple legislative majority to over-rule a court decision is pretty fucking weird.
That being said, they probably aren't kidding about trying to kill him, Leftist jewish terrorists are a thing, and have operate in Israel and elsewhere.
If that's the case, it explains why Netanyahu pushed for this. They Left is concerned about loosing control of the judiciary. We saw what they did in response to Kavanaugh.
