The movie was produced by a moron who outright hated the book, to the point that they didn't read past the second chapter, to the point that he claimed the book was about fascism. It was meant to be a parody of the book, but failed at it.
It's not a bad movie, but it does not in any way serve as an adequate replacement for the book. You will not get the intended message through the movie.
