I think I hit a nerve. My comment was solely that as a Finn, and assuming you're here and are probably better educated with regards to history, you will have a lot of historical animosity towards Russians.
I think when put into comparison similar trends of more top heavy economic growth at the expense of the middle class are happening in the west to a great extent as well. Urban areas are strongholds of wealth and the upper class. I believe the old European middle classes are becoming poorer as inflation and poor socialist policies are inflicting a lot on you all. Couple with immigration and it'll get very bad. Same in the USA too

To a certain extent, but the divide is significantly sharper in Russia and China than in the US.
Some of our rural towns have fiber optic internet connections.
Most of our rural towns are dying and have very low income per capita. Globalization/urbanization will continue everywhere.
