For example, if an adult teaches and orders a child to kill someone (say for dramatic effect, his mother tricks or even grooms him to kill his father) that adult will absolutely be charged, and that child will certainly not serve a full adult sentence even as an accessory.
That's because even the justice system takes into account the agency I'm talking about. In old times if a woman killed someone who wasn't a lover, the men in her life were immediate suspects even given that the woman had been involved so directly. It just made sense.
But that's a completely different situation. This is more like when the 14 year old girl stabbed a grown man in the street in the UK, and got the book thrown at her after her rape claim fell apart. The malice is abundantly clear and must be dealt with. If it isn't, we'll be right back here again in 5-10 years.
Tried as adults, no deflections, no concessions. The full extent of the law or there's no point.
To be honest when you said it was murder I was straight up thrown off and just did my best with the context of murder.
Also I agree with you in today's circumstances that women need to be held to their full legal account just as though they were men. We can't have it both ways, not with crime and punishment, where women are treated as equals everywhere except regarding the consequences of their actions.
That's not how I want it. It doesn't reflect the way we are, the natural functions and inclinations of mankind. We aren't equal, we are McEquitable.
No, it's not. If a child kills someone, it can still be tried as an adult, that's the situation we are in.
"May" says it all.
