The issue here is that Lindsey Graham is not just a regular neo-con. He is arguably the worst Senator in the GOP caucus. Graham is also absolutely reviled by most of Trump's base. Bringing Lindsey up on stage in his first campaign event represents spitting in the face of his own base.
Yes RDS will be forced to make a broad coalition which will include some neocons sure but I am sure he won't be picking Lindsey Graham as his close friend.
RDS's neocon liaison will likely be someone like Tom Cotton in the Senate and Mike Garcia in the House.
Cotton and Garcia are both neocons with regards to foreign policy but they both have solid domestic policy of stopping wokeness, stopping illegal immigration and protecting the second amendment.
