Roger Ebert said that Shaolin Soccer was utter piffle, but it was superior piffle, so he enjoyed it. These articles are on such subjects. It's all fun, except that one bit.
10 bad movies that had great villains… only most of the films were great. There have been complaints sure, but they're still fine. I have a theory that many "bad movies" were paid for by competing companies.
Moveable van office with cool wood set up.
New Power Rangers won't have monster of the week style.

Several spin offs of Doctor Who, now called the Whoniverse, are planned. Doctor ten and eleven meet ups, the paternoster gang, and others are planned. This will be part of Disney+ streaming.
It would take a lot to get me interested in Dr Who again. I stopped watching when Bill aka I’ll remind you I’m a lesbian every episode came on the scene and gave it another chance when Jodi arrived and I was already annoyed at the gushing over a female doctor but gave her a chance. I was done after the galactic white supremacist episode.
A great Dr Who spin-off was the Sarah Jane adventures. Also there was one in the early 80s if I remember. I used to want a UNIT spin-off but I have no faith in the BBC anymore. I love their older content and there is still plenty of classic who I have yet to see.
Sarah Jane was excellent. It really hurt when I saw those last two episodes.
I never saw those. Only saw some of the episodes but liked what I saw. I saw the one with the brigadier
That was a great one.
Shaolin Soccer is my jam. Such a good memory from my childhood.
Kung Fu Hustle is at least as good. I remember heading to the cinema with my mate as a youngster, unaware of what the movie actually was. Definitely wasn't expecting kung-fu gangster DragonBall Looney Tunes action.
Most times things like "bad movies" or "old tropes everyone hated" are more meme ideas than actual truth. Often times these completely overshadow the reality to a point where you cannot even discuss the thing in conversation, and this applies in all mediums from the woke to even people here.
Such as Phantom Menace being completely awful, or Lovecraft being super mega ultra racist, or Drakengard having gameplay so painful it cannot be played by humans. The list can go on for a while.
None of these are true, they have some truth to them but people build their entire opinions on them being the only thing you can talk about the topic just so they can fit in with the group meme. Sometimes its from people who never actually consumed the product, other times people will rewrite their own opinion on it to not have get dogpiled when discussing it.
