If he ever does get back in White House the swamp is going to impeach and actually remove him purely out of spite. McConnell in particular only cares about his precious Majority Leader position (provided he can actually control the caucus of course), and I think he genuinely feels Trump cost him that. McConnell would destroy a second Trump presidency purely out of revenge.
