It’s honestly super depressing. You know that like some random tribe had like an amorphous deity somewhere and now Science. has declared the colonization theory truth. We’re really in two different realities.
They only get away with the Indian one because those guys basically don't exist in any real capacity, its all deeply muddled blood that's mostly not Native playing up their "heritage" like a caricature.
It would ruin their existence to know that a large amount of Indians who do still exist are basically White Trash, either on their reservations or mixed in with the local regular White Trash. With the same opinions, politics, and beliefs as those White Trash they hate so much.
