"Gang, we're fighting big tech and fighting for free speech by setting up this subscription model, gang."
"Gang, Crowder has a huge paying audience he can bring to our subscription service but we need to punish him on behalf of big tech if he uses his free speech gang. This is how business works, gang- my wife is a doctor"
"Ok gang Crowder is our friend, which is why we gave him a shitty, controlling boilerplate offer, gang."
"How could Crowder betray us, his friends gang, by sharing our contract offer - which is totally a great offer we're super proud of, gang?"
I don't agree with releasing the phone convo, especially because there wasn't really a big gotcha smoking gun that would justify it- but the DW mob attacking Crowder makes me glad I never signed up to DW.
The phone conversation was to demonstrate that he wasn't doing it over the money and had asked Jeremy to stop fucking over smaller people to which Jeremy replied that they should be wage slaves for a while then fuck off and restart their own shit elsewhere
TBF I don't think Jeremy was being totally serious there with the "wage slave" comment- and releasing private phone conversations to the public, especially someone you had a friendly relationship with, isn't somthing you should do willy nilly.
And I'm like 90% on Crowder's side here
Considering that most things I've heard from him has been extremely arrogant and condescending I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt especially because the contract reflects that attitude.
Also something really worth noting is that Crowder dropped Black Rifle Coffee after they denounced Rittenhouse and the Daily Wire picked them up. I think that says alot
Yeah DW isn't conservative. They're money grubbers masquerading as conservatives.
