An entire generation of alienated, directionless, frustrated young men, made to feel like second-class citizens in their own countries, vilified by their teachers and communities, even by their own families, ridiculed and belittled by the media they consume, effectively denied opportunities they see are available to others because they are young and male. Increasingly desperate for a sense of purpose and a path to fulfillment and self-respect, looking more and more for people with even a facade of authority who are willing to listen to them, only to find people like Andrew Tate or Jordan Peterson and see them almost immediately silenced and brought down by the regime, which only adds to their frustrations.
