It is always pissed me off that we right call RT, Press TV, and other non-allied national media 'state news', but the the same label is almost never applied to similar entities run by nations friendly to 'the west'.
Youtube does this. On Al Jazeera they say something like "a terrorist-funded network" or whatever their exact wording is and on BBC it's "a public service".
Same deal except AJ might even get less state funding than BBC...
