The lardass got previously roasted endlessly for insinuating she has Anorexia Nevrosa. She can't. Now sometimes words it more carefully or explicitly says Atypical Anorexia.
AN is a an urgent condition and has a weight criteria : the patient be under 80% of the lowest normal BMI. The diagnostic needs this severe weight criteria because such a patient may need to be hospitalized. Potentially against their will due to imminent risk of death. AN has the highest mortality rate among mental illness.
"Atypical Anorexia" is when a fattie or a normal weight person suffers emotional distress around food and significantly lost weight, but aren't starving themselves to death. Maby they will get there, but it's very unlikely they will.
It takes a special kind of personality and high self-control for AN to take root.
Although Atypical Anorexia "can" worsen into Anorexia Nevrosa, it's up to the therapist to monitor if it's going there.
Lardass Holyday never left the Morbidly Obese category. I don't believe she has Atypical Anorexia.
She has Binge Eating Disorder, possibly on a Binge / Restrict cycle. But it's not the "sexy" mental illness she wants. She wants the mental illness that would make it off-limits to tell her she has to lose weight.
Atypical Anorexia is not Anorexia Nevrosa.
