Really demented transgender folx have thought this was possible for years now but it is literally not medically possible and never will be possible to do this and any Dr. Moreau motherfucker who even suggests it should spend the rest of their life in prison.
any Dr. Moreau motherfucker who even suggests it should spend the rest of their life in prison.
That should be "HIS life" referring to "motherfucker."
I agree 100% with your sentiment, but using a plural pronoun for a singular antecedent is part of the left's language hijack.
This is not nit-picking. It's my job to raise awareness of the left's language games. Always use masculine pronouns generically for singular antecedents referring to people. It rankles feminists and their PC faggot cuckolds.
I remember when academic feminists changed the usage around 30 years ago, and I am familiar with the sophistry that defends the practice.
Awkward, clumsy. The male pronouns should be used generically again. As for those who use exclusively feminine pronouns or alternate between masculine and feminine (which I advised my students to do when I was teaching to make things easier on them)--this is admitting defeat. Why capitulate to feminist fascists and make the feminine pronouns generic?
The fact that the editors of a few grammar handbooks and style guides should have had such a massive NEGATIVE impact on clear writing has always baffled and irritated me. Probably another instance of higher ed bullshit infiltrating into the wider culture, like neo-Marxism, anti-whiteness, and every other damned strain of mind poison currently killing us. "Ivory tower" my Aunt Fanny.

What about "his or her"?
