Most Japanese wouldn't give a shit about this kind of PC-drama nonsense, or at least 10 years ago they wouldn't. Most would be thrilled that some American celebrity identifies with them. Also hilarious how the opinions of autistic dweebs who can't parse figurative speech are treated as news stories today.
