A communist actually won that election? Yikes! Or should I say “won”
Officially won by less than 1%nof vote.
A comrade and follower of Castro and Chavez. His communication minister had kidnapped the American ambassador in 1969.
They didn’t do a recount? I guess votes came in overnight as well
Recount fradulent votes and you'll get the same fraudulent outcome.
I remembered that after I hit the send button. My dad has been saying exactly what you said since 2020.

Thanks!
So much so you accidentally posted twice lol
Am I wrong because I heard this pic wasn't this current protest but a protest a year ago?
I saw that pic, pretty funny. But those tall buildings look more like Avenida Paulista in São Paulo, and not Brasília (where the protests took place) so it's likely not from these Jan 8th protests.
Amazing how Brazilians just copy the latest American fad, whatever it is. In politics it became amazingly clear that Brazilian politics is basically what's going on in the USA two years later.
Oh, and just like in Jan 6th, the cops physically let people in, there was no resistance. So Lula's people simply took a page from the Democrat's playbook and repeated it here.
Honestly, there's no other way for Brazil besides accelerationism. Bolsonaro was a mistake. I used to think he was nothing more than "growing pains" for the newly created Brazilian right, but he actually stunted it's growth.
We need all these old folks and midwits to see that Bolsonaro and the army don't give a fuck about them, so I'm actually hoping we get some draconian convictions for terrorism, 30 years of hard time. Maybe then the right will finally start letting go of that clown.
Bolsonaro monopolized the right, and worked diligently to suppress any other rw candidate that wasn't under his wing. Brazil has no right wing ideology or conservatism. It has only Bolsonarism, and that has to change.
