When did "follow"ing an account become an endorsement? Are we now to the point where it is morally bad to view the tweets of anyone who disagrees with you?
We've been at that point since 2016. A few years ago there was a Twitter bug that briefly made it look like you were liking posts you didn't like, which showed up on other people's timelines, and communists were absolutely falling out of their chairs in sheer terror explaining that they weren't actually liking Trump tweets. They've gotten much more hysterical since then.
In 1984, there was a Thought Police. You were not allowed to have unapproved thoughts.
The modern West has taken it a step further with 'unconscious bias'. They reserve the right to police your unconscious so not thinking unapproved thoughts is not enough.
