I'm convinced this is why so many guys like anime because the anime does a great job of conveying this potential kind of romance men want even better than western media does.

Nah, I've just watched some anime myself and immediately I realized the female characters tend to be written almost absolutely perfect for what men desire and it's such a far-cry to how women truly are.
