Oh no, now the US government will have to borrow more. I bet the bankers are pissed!
I agree with your point I’m quite the doomer myself. But I believe this is just a few extra drops in the piss bucket. Look at what the US has sent Ukraine last year.
This is why they do it. Not because they are afraid Russia will send canon fodder their way, but because they need to upgrade their militaries and modernize their defense/offensive systems. They don't want to do it, because they're already bankrupt from their social welfare systems and other frivolous spending.
Personally I'd gone for a metaphor like "Putin wins at checkers as opponents decide to smear shit over themselves"
I think NATO's current strategy is to confuse everyone into a brain aneurysm by overwhelming them with retarded decision.
I'd go with "US uses Arrogance. It hurts itself in its confusion."
It's not like it matters, until the petrodollar collapses. Until the US government runs out of "goodwill" (if you want to put it charitably), it doesn't matter how much they spend, or how much debt they accrue; the US has infinite money...right up until they don't.
Now, I'm not saying this is meaningless. It could very well be another nail in the coffin, and hastening the collapse. But up until it reaches critical mass, the US establishment can survive everything.
It is kind of funny (more sad, but hey) how every couple of decades it seems like the US and Russia get into an economic pissing match where the goal is to trick the other into pissing on the third rail and destroying themselves. I'm just surprised Afghanistan isn't involved yet.
Out of curiosity, where'd you get this from?
