If you reeeeeeaaaaaly stretch, you could read into his being an eccentric weirdo in a relationship with a chicken. Of course, his boss is a frog dating a pig, so....

It's just these parasites latching onto anything that's remotely a deviation from the norm and absorbing it into their sexual deviations for "solidarity's" sake.
