Wife asks me to watch Wednesday with her.
She had already watched it. "It's not that woke. Only a few 'blah blah patriarchy blah'."
Wednesday proceeds to set fire to statue of historical figure she doesn't like. This is presented as good.
"Now that you mention it I guess I didn't think about it that way..." Women are stupid.
I cancelled Netflix a while back but from what I remember this is all netflix cares about along with race and gender swaps. I’ll stick with the original Addams Family series and I still need to watch the 90s movies. I’m so sick of catering to a small portion of the population and the need to update for modern audience. Is it honestly a controversial thing today for a female to fall in love with a male?
Couldn’t say. I cancelled around the time cuties came out plus I noticed their new shows more and more cared about diversity over storytelling and they don’t have much of a library of older content which is my main thing for streaming services. I found some free streaming services that have a massive older content library like tubi.
"shipping" is when fans preemptively choose a preferred love interest for a character
Or when showrunners provide multiple potential love interests for a character and the fans invest themselves emotionally in one possible pairing over another.

The licensed Cyberpunk anime was good.
Definitely years back netflix was very good.
To be fair, Netflix tends to attract the sort of person who immediately ships any child on sight, with themselves.
What does this mean?
It means that anyone that still has a Netflix sub either is part of (or at least comfortable with) the Cuties crowd.
I still don't know what this means: "...immediately ships any child on sight, with themselves."
Is this English?

It is barely English.
Thanks. Wouldn't have guessed that...and too indolent to search it!
