The writing is pretty poor, even by modern Netflix standards.
It feels like it has been written by a potty mouthed teenager which is just stuck in a perpetual loop of saying generic movie lines and just tossing in far too many swear words- to the degree where they just sound like your average room-temperature iq Brit.
Funniest part is episode 2 is basically the diversity episode, they announce one of the "main" characters is gay, reveal an actual dwarf actres and reveal a mute mage (which doesn't make sense at all because magic..)
The saddest thing is it actually has potential, it's pretty fun and has a bunch of surprisingly well choreographed fighting.
But no, after season 3 of Cavill I'm pretty sure Netflix's Witcher live action series will die off.
