Egypt had a very impressive ancient civilization. They also had some black kings after they got invaded by Nubia.
But that does not make them black, at most you can say they probably have some black DNA. Their skin color varies a lot but so does in Eastern Europe or Greece.
I'm curious on why they think they were black, we have paintings as well as DNA, if the ancient Egyptians were somehow black it would be easy to prove.
Also how do they explain that most of sub-Sahara Africa did not discover the wheel or writing? The Egyptians had rudimentary brain surgeries and had the wheel before the Europeans and built huge temples. Shouldn't the entire Africa show that? How about egyptian weapons or pottery techniques?
I had a teacher in school that would always point to the kings and queens of Nubian descent and claim all of Egypt was black…. They would get so angry when you point out the numerous depictions of just tan kings and queens and average Egyptians that far out number the darker ones.
