I've no idea how any of it works Philosoraptor, I was ready to accept that he was hoping for the memes to return and get him some attention but his precise surgery in the wording of this video makes me think that he knew what he was doing.

I agree that the cards were a distraction from this serious announcement. Were it up to me I'd have let the story run for a couple more days and once the media got someone onto their lives shows to show off their card a QR code would be shown on the back which would have led to this video.

But that's just me.
