Hunger Games is emblematic of female-led and female-written fiction:
-Passive protagonist.
-Liked by everyone for no reason.
-Generically pretty, but not to the point of alienation (everygirl).
-Very little action, most of the novel is her thoughts.
-Gets to choose between two different but equally attractive hunks.
-Men literally die at her feet.
-Threatens to kill herself to get her way (BPD/narcissism).
Its popularity doesn't mean what people think it does, but never mind. You go Catscratch. I choose the deathberries.
