I got no problem with legal 'marriage' like a civil partnership, it'd be good if they adopted the same relationship roles as straight couples as we see how destructive it is when straight women abandon marriage
But there's two issues, one is that the 'gay community' that fought for it aren't accepting it themselves and are still engaging in the degenerate ways of old
The second issue is how it's used as a wedge to push toxic left ideology like trans, diversity, inclusion etc. Unless the 'gay community' ends and gay is no longer an identity but an aspect of it, you cannot allow samesex marriage, sorry for the long explanation.
You're right about them not really getting married. Not that my generation is doing a lot of marrying to begin with, but I haven't heard of a single gay person getting married in real life, and I'm not exactly living in Iran over here. The whole shitfit over gay marriage seems like it had no other purpose than to push boundaries.
