You basically have to slowly de-radicalize your family. It's going to take some time, but keep offering alternative perspectives on non-threatening issues. And if it's a contentious issue, only hit on agreeable points.
I never challenged the injection's efficacy fully, but if someone had a moment of lucidity and said "We have to get boosters because the vaccine doesn't prevent infection entirely", I'd respond with "Right, the vaccine only reduces the viral load on the body, given that you're infected with the correct strain of the virus. You're only protected for 3 months, 6 months tops".
"Yes, I'm getting the vaccine, I'm just waiting for the protein-based one. The MRNA one is still experimental. Drumpf allowed it through without a lot of safety checks."
"We shouldn't abolish the police, but we should think about how we need to have people take more responsibility in policing their own communities."
"Each Life Matters"
"Each Life Matters... differently"
"I understand what Black Lives Matter is trying to advocate for, but I don't think that Michael Brown / Jacob Blake / Trayvon Martin / Breonna Taylor / Philando Castile / Sandra Bland / Mkylah Bryant / Antonio Martin / (any other shooting than the one they are focused on) is a good example"
^ This one is particularly useful because BLM supporters don't fucking remember the last person they were deifying, and sometimes entirely drop people from their list.
What, don't you remember Antonio Martin? I like to harp on that case because of how extreme the BLM was response was that night, and how quickly it was memory-holed. I'll put it in a totally different reply so it doesn't use up too much space.
Another good one is that Progressives hate Neo-Liberals, which allows you to basically hit all of your complaints about Fabian Socialism by swapping out words.
Hell, you can just rant about "Corporatism" and "Syndicalism" forever. They think there is literally no difference between Corporatism, Syndicalism, and Capitalism.
That's my advice for trying to slowly de-radicalize people from the cult.
