Established Titles claimed a customer can “Purchase a personalLordship or Ladyship Title Pack with dedicated land in Scotland.”

I bought someone one of these back in 2005, wasn't from Established Titles though, which came with fishing rights which have been tested and shown to be true.

So I'd say that it is based on a truth, just a commodified truth nowadays.
