That's why people used to purposefully get their kids infected with chickenpox because it was benign, and gave their kids life-long immunity. If a reinfection somehow occurred (rare, very rare), it wouldn't be deadly, just painful.
Every shot I ever got was one and done. Chicken pox has never been deadly, why develop a vaccine for it?
