No. We are trained to believe that journalism is this ethical job and even a 4th power in a democratic state. They are fighters for truth.
Then we read a news article about a topic that we know about and we realize how utterly shit their position & argument is. "What a bunch of retards!". But then we forget this same logic when reading about a topic we know nothing about. "Well, those are good ethical journalists".
And it's really hard to break this thought pattern. Because sometimes (like in scientific fields) they do report correctly about an article. Which reinforces the bias we have.
