I've always found Johnny Cougar's Americana to be grating and false.

Anyway, who gives a shit what goes on during the Anthem? It's when I go buy beers or go to the head. It's a dumb way to express a maudlin sentiment somewhere adjacent to actual patriotism or love of country. These things are expressed less in public ceremony than by everyday actions.

That said, there's no need to be a showboating dick about it. At least stand up.
