Oh, you're back. Did you hear about Commonwealth Bank? I found an obscure ESG filing that confirms they offer loans with variable interest based on how many women the target company hires.
There was an entire banking royal commission into the dodgy shit they were doing - it wouldn’t surprise me if the government of the time made them sign on to more of that stuff, no joke, to avoid literal jail time for some execs, for white collar crime…
They’ve been fucked for at least two decades, dude. That is but one small part of it.
They literally closed down their bank headquarters for my state and sold off the building, a couple of years ago, meaning that, as an example, if you were a business customer with CommBank and needed to go into that branch (which employed probably 50 people, at least), you were completely robbed of that option…
Their response was literally “Not our problem. Go online, or find a new bank.”
Because that’s how little they care.
“Fuck you, average person, we’re making so much money that we don’t give a shit.”
So yeah.
And yes, I’m “back”. I’ve just been trying to focus efforts on fixing my own life, and changing things that I have the ability to control, instead of ranting pointlessly online.
“Getting my own house in order” (or trying to), so to speak. It’s about time, frankly…

They're also tracking customers' 'carbon footprint' and refuse to give loans to businesses that don't have a 'carbon neutral' business plan.
I mean, I’m not surprised…
Laughs in money laundering for terrorists

Sounds like you've been reading some Jordan Peterson lol.
Self improvement is never a bad goal - but sometimes hard to remember when you get caught up in the day to day stuff.
Hope you succeed in getting your shit sorted. :-)
