A siege of the cities that ends when the starving masses acquiesce is the only way another civil war ends, if it ever goes hot.
All it takes is some heavy-duty road-construction equipment or enough explosive material to make the interstate highway system and railroads in and out of cities unusable, and it is over.
I don't think the lefties driving this conflict understand that they are absolutely surrounded by people who have the ability to erase them from existence, and the only thing stopping anyone from doing it is the fundamentally intact morality of their enemies.
Congress will never approve the creation of new states that would be red. I don't know what it takes to go join another state, but I assume it's approval of both parties, and I don't think either one would approve in Eastern Oregon's case.
“We’re seceding!”
“Succeeding at what?”
More seriously: people tend to draw civil war 2 battle lines as red states vs blue states, but the reality is red counties vs blue.
Red rural, primary and secondary industry vs blue urban, tertiary industry
